Advisor:  Mrs. Georgia Karnezis

Our St Demetrios Goya is made up of youth from our parish between the grades of 7th -12th.  In addition to community service activities which include:  Offering a community Christmas Card, hosting an annual Macaronatha Luncheon (Cheese Fare Sunday), participating in a 30 Hour fast, preparing food and serving at a local homeless shelter, donating time and talents to help with our various festivals throughout the year, volunteering for our Vacation Bible School session each summer to name a few, our youth also enjoy fellowship as a group.  Events are planned to include Cosmic Bowling, a holiday trip to Navy Pier in Chicago, Great America adventure, movie nights, overnight lock ins, car washes and game night to name a few.  We are fortunate to have a great group of youth at our church that enjoy being active in our parish and helping our communities when they can.  If you are interested in joining our GOYA please contact our church office to find out when our next meeting is.  Meetings are held the third Monday of each month.
