Stewardship At Saint Demetrios

Stewardship is our Christian obligation to care for the Lord's Holy Church.  We do so with the proper use of our time, our Talents (abilities) and Treasure (financial means).  A Good Steward properly commits to supporting the ministry of the Church so that together we all may fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord to "go, therefore, to all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you..." (Matthew 28).

We hope that on our PARISH MINISTRIES page you have been interested to volunteer to assist us in this Great Commission of our Lord.  Below is a form by which you may submit an annual pledge of financial support for our ministries.  Our goal, and ideal, is to cover our Parish Ministries Budget through the free-will offerings of our members.  "God loves a cheerful giver..." And we deeply appreciate your generosity.

If you will be submitting a 2009 Stewardship Pledge online, you may use the form below.  Please note the following:

1.  Your Pledge remains confidential, and your pledge online is submitted only to the Parish Office.  No information is shared with anyone other than our parish priest, our office secretary and our Parish Stewardship Pledge Coordinators.

2.  Please fill out the form completely.  Do not forget your email and home addresses.  You will receive a confirmation by mail from our office.  You may still receive mail regarding our Stewardship Program, but once you have submitted your pledge online and received confirmation, you may ignore the appeals by mail.

3.  We are unable to accept payments through the internet at this time.  Remitting your Pledge may be handled through the Parish Office (cash, check, credit card).  You will NEVER be asked to make a payment toward your Pledge online by Saint Demetrios through email!
